A useful medium for extending the drying and blending time of paint, Thick Slow Medium features a thick, paint-like consistency great for spreading and diluting paint without making it thin or runny. It is especially good when painting large works because it gives an artist time to work without the paint drying too fast. It also allows thinly applied paint to remain workable. This thick medium may also be preferred by artists who find they tend to overuse the water sprayer because it can absorb more water without becoming runny.
